Description

Following on the Cascadia theme I decided to reposition the camera in that world and take a closer look. Unfortunately I found the terrain geometry, which looked great from far away, sort of broke down a bit when zoomed in so I added some higher resolution rock formations created in Oculus Medium.

But I would like something more in the background. The details doen’t show up enough and it looks a bit empty. The foreground is great.

The multiple screen versions really add a whole bunch of depth to this scape… I seem to always get lost in it!

  3. Molly [nonmonthly]

I think it’s a neat scene, but it sort of lacks a focal point. I feel like the image got cut off or something.

  4. Ozaawaagosh [basicmember]

Really love this view, it looks so amazingly real, Great Render.

  5. Drew [nonmonthly]

    Great variation! Keep em coming!

I may be spending too much time with geologists. The jagged rocks *are* pretty, though, so I’ll suspend disbelief. Not like your astrophysics is realistic, and I love the space views.

And, yeah — this is going to look good in winter and maybe fall, too.

I find this wanting naught, this is so real looking it finds one feeling it…and wanting to get away from it all. Home run Ryan.

  8. Littlemom [liferplus]

I absolutely love this render!!! The darker colors are awesome with just a hint of the sun. It’s absolutely perfect!!! Great job Ryan!!!

  9. Corwin Amber [nonmonthly]

I always love the darker colored images, but the hint of sun is okay too 🙂
