Hubble's Doorstep: Created 06/8/98. I started with about 10 or 20 different Bryce rocks and duplicated them until I had about 250. Then I used the Randomizer to spread them out (3d Rotate/Size). I rendered the image against a black background and added the stars and the galaxy in Photoshop.

I second the comment below. This is a lovely image that I’ve enjoyed for a long time, but it’s a great shame that there’s no higher resolution version. Could you either produce some bigger version(s) or a modern reinterpretation, please?

Could you make a 1600 x 1200 of this one? This was the first one I’ve saw along time ago.
I’ve upgraded my monitor (21″ from 19″ ).
Need 1600 x 1200 one! 🙂
