Description
When creating a pure space image it has become a bit of a tradition for me to also render a view (from the ground). Not sure exactly when I started doing that, but it might have been when I rendered a view of “Thetis” from its “tropical moon” way back in 2001. Here I’ve created an alien landscape (evolving the Gaea techniques that I used for “Avernus“, “Arethusa” and “Sinua“) to show of the Dark Star I created last week. I hope you enjoy it!

I love the colors of this one and find the foreground so peaceful and serene. As my eye was drawn to the sky, although the sky is the same color as the foreground, it feels more chaotic, so I’m not so sure how I feel about how it makes the whole render feel. However, overall it’s very pretty render.

Dark, but brilliant. But seeing it makes me wonder what it would look like if, instead of the reeds at the end of the point, you placed a structure similar to “Gazebo”?
