I don’t set a lot of my renders at midday because the lighting is usually pretty harsh and the shadows are few. If I was going to create a midday version of this scene I decided to add a little variety in the sky. Most of these time-of-day variations will end up in the Pickle Jar but I did want to feature them in my gallery to start.

This is pretty but I think I agree with you about it seeming a bit on the harsh side as far as lighting is concerned. It seems really bright to me, and I’m not sure about the clouds but I get why you added them. I love these time of day renders even if they end up in the Pickle Jar, I grab them anyways. 🙂
