After creating my new version of “Class M” last week I knew I wanted to create a new version of “Arboreal“. My first version of “Arboreal” was created nearly 20 years ago and I tried an update 10 years ago that was OK but, looking back, did not exceed the original. I feel like this new version, with my traveler taking in the scene, is a much better update and I hope you agree.
Ryan, I have been staring at this image since you posted it for our enjoyment. The last time I saw this was in Colorado the only differance was the planet was a full moon and I was standing on a point like yours. I did have a fly rod in hand. It was just as magical as your minds eye. But the dark evening / early morning style, sets the mode.. Thank you for sharing. James
These off world scapes are me favorites, I love the progression from your 1st one to now, bloody awesome, Great work my friend, oh yeah, the daylight one is awesome to, Love it.

This is very nice! Please, a PJ without the little guy on the shore.
Wow. It’s been awhile since I’ve done this, but this one’s one of those Ryan does that, when you actually LOOK at it, does something to your mood. This one started to give out relaxing feelings right away. When you look at it for awhile, my goodness, the outline of the lights on the left side of the planet appear to trace the shape of the U.S. Or, perhaps I’m just seeing things, but I don’t think so. Wishful thinking? Why not? Again, a beautiful job, and why should we go anywhere else for something like this? Mr. Bliss deserves every accolade and award coming to him. Thank you again Ryan for your giving.
My favorite explorer is back !. Yeah the planetscapes and other world exploring themed scenes have always been my favs and this one has joined at the top of the list. It’s now the desktop.
I absolutely love dark nature themed wallpapers and this one is dang near perfect! Thank you!
Love the mist and the details in the trees! Nicely done!
Fantastic! All of your galactic work is phenomenal! This is serenely captivating. Love it!!!

I think we are on the moon, looking at the earth. It is simply magnificent
Beautiful–definitely better than the 2nd version, but I still like the original just as much as this one.
