Shortly after posting my original “Lavender” render multiple Members requested a sunset version. Sounded like a great idea to me 🙂

Ryan, do you have a lossless version of this one?

  2. Kelsi [liferplus]

I love both the versions, but I think I figured out why the daylight one looks more realistic to me. In the dark light, the lavender and the field in the foreground have details that are a tad too defined. Our eyes can’t make out details and color as well in low light. I still think both are gorgeous though.

I love this version. The soft light with the mist I think works better than it does in the daylight version. Both are beautiful but this one is the favorite of the two. Keep up the great work.

Nice with the sunset light ….nice touch Rayan 🙂

    Keep up the great work

  5. James Smart [lifer]

Absolutely stunning. Sunsets are one of my most favourite things and this makes me love them even more. Beautiful.

The darker tones make a big difference when it spans three screens, changes the mood of the whole room.

    We lurve it !

  7. Jenanne [liferplus]

Both of these are fantastic, Ryan. I’m enjoying looking at them while sipping a nice cup of lavender and chamomile tea — ahhhh…. 😉

I already thought that the redone day version was a huge improvement, but the green between the rows of lavender still seemed a little too much. With this version it’s just perfect and really makes you dream about that place. I would love to put this one into my rotation collection here at work, but I’ll have to wait for the dualscreen image. Great job, Ryan!

It`s interesting how color can change between day and night. In this case the fields exude an air of mystery.

Seems that little of the dramatic magic-hour golden light has made it to the plants. Nice sky! My favorite thing about sunset is the soft-edged golden light that bathes everything.

One of the best renders ever made!

Honestly, it’s been a while since I could say this about your work. But, the best compliment I can give you is: “I wish I were there!”

Generally, the change to the plants is a big improvement from the pickle jar variant, mostly due to the addition of some green. I was worried all you were going to change was the lighting based on your previous comments. The plants are the focal point of the piece and you nailed it in the end. The rows of lavender also have a nice, organic variation to them.

There is a calmness and peace that comes through in this sunset version. The hazy horizon also works better in this setting versus the daytime version.

I can’t wait for the triple screen version!

  13. Doug [liferplus]

This sunset version is now one o fmy favorites.

The sunset version is gorgeous. Fabulous work.

I like the lavender color is this version. Can you try this color in the daytime version?

Hitting the submit button to often because I am thinking my pc is hanging up, sorry.

Both artworks are great as always! But I tend to prefer the sunset version a littlebit more. The fog in distance at the daytime work is what I do not like so much, but everybody have his own sapidity. Especially the sky makes a special atmosphere.

I like this one better because I think the lavender color is actually more authentic in this one. Keeping in mind that this is art and not an attempt to exactly recreate reality, I still find the colors more appealing in this one.

I love both of these!! Sunset & Daytime. I think the sunset washes out the Lavender color, which is why I like them both!! Hope to see wide screen of them both! 😀 Really cool, flower pictures, space pictures and abstracts are always my all time fav!
