Skyweir –
This is one of your earlier works which haunts me. I return to it often as my desktop. The serenity of the water and clouds contrasts so well with the unfathomable mass of the monolith (of which this seems to be just a small buttress!). It almost appears that the background planet was added after most of the clouds, but that is a minor point which doesn’t detract from the composition. “Monolith” remains as one of your most powerful works!
