Description
It’s probably no secret that I love creating Autumn landscapes and take great inspiration from the turning of the seasons. I usually start wanting to create them long before the leaves start changing color or the air cools. For this scene I’ve imagined an overlook above some rolling foothills fading to a mountain covered with peak fall foliage. It’s very flat where I live and I’ve never actually had the opportunity to see a scene like this with my own eyes. Hopefully it’s not too far from reality. I’d love to travel to some hill country to see fall colors someday!

Ryan, this is lovely! As for seeing some hill country in the fall, I recommend the Appalachian Mountains, especially the Blue Ridge Parkway in North Carolina.

Wow, this is really great! Its full summer here 100+ degrees, but a really great render. Lots of possibilities for other seasons/changes too. Could see a Christmas render here with another “The Ride 2024” or something, but definitely interested what winter looks like here

This is one of the all-time greats. The darker, silhouetted overlook trees and grass are what make it so great for me, with just a tinge of darker light hitting the colors in the trees in the foreground. Quintessential autumnal.
