Description

Continuing the theme of mathematical beauty I offer “Myriad”, a 3D fractal mandala that I created and rendered using Mandelbulb3D. After the in-your-face brightness of “Fibonacci’s Flower” I thought it would be best to mute the colors a bit for this one.
I hope you enjoy it!!

    My favorite of all!

I love this! abstracts are why I come to this site – this is one of the finest i have seen yet. always a pleasant surprise to cruise through your work – my wife AND I each have a life time membership!

Would it be possible to create a version of this where you’ve pulled back a bit so the central circle is about 1/4 the current size. Id like to see all the detail that surrounds it.

  5. Davin [nonmonthly]

I am very fond of your abstracts. I love how this looks like it is almost crocheted. As soon as I saw this, it instantly replaced my current wallpaper!

  6. SethEden [liferplus]

I always love the abstract views and flowers the most! Cannot wait to see a multi-screen of this!!! 😀

  7. Rodewaryer [nonmonthly]

This has great detail and depth, I just wonder if another contrasting color would have helped the feeling of depth even more. Hey, it’s still great!

  8. Susan [nonmonthly]

I like the shapes and the design, but I’m not so fond of the brown colours. To me the brown colours makes it look drab. Perhaps a hint of green? not quite sure what it needs

I love it! I miss your abstracts. They are always so cool!

A great looking fractal with depth. I don`t use Mandelbulb myself, but I achieve good things with Ultra Fractal!

  11. Camille [nonmonthly]

It takes a few minutes to realize what you are seeing in this one. The depth can be felt. Love the colors. Nice job!

Looks fantastic, like the rings are real…

Thanks a lot for this artwork!

I really like the 3D work on this one, and I always seem to like your abstracts the best. Pickle jar versions, please, with different hues?

This is your best; reminiscent of Ottoman empire temples, and stained glass windows. I love fractals, and this is my all time favorite.

Instant new wallpaper, (as if they all aren’t), but I might have just found another of yours I want to hang on my wall. You should definitely have a couple pickle jar variations of different hues or angles.

The depth of the image is fascinating.

  24. Dustin [lifer]

This is awesome! Do you think this will be added to the device skins site (DecalGirl, I think)?

  25. Don [liferplus]

This is very like a Mandala from India. I find myself drawn into the image deeper and deeper! Love it!
